Blog two in a three-part series on the benefits of Oxine® Horticulture: Meet AANE!

Now that we’ve provided a glimpse into the Key Solutions Group process of identifying facility needs through meetings with stakeholders to identify needs/goals, and reviewed the services provided by Key Solutions Group with Bio-Cide International, let's dive a little deeper into how your facility can maximize Oxine Horticulture.

First up is AANE (Automated Activation Non-Electric), which is for low-volume or smaller facilities… as well as large facilities seeking flexibility for hard-surface sanitizing and disinfecting in one or several locations. AANE is custom-built here in the USA at Bio-Cide International in Norman, Oklahoma.

Keeping it simple is the name of the game here at Key Solutions Group, so all growers have three options for Oxine Horticulture activation on hard surfaces and/or for injecting equipment. The easiest and most economical to implement is Oxine Horticulture as a hard surface sanitizer and disinfectant through an AANE mixing station. AANE is inexpensive and hands-free and only needs one water connection… no electricity required!

The real benefit of the AANE is that it can provide you with the option to fill backpack sprayers, foggers, mop buckets, hand pumps, foaming equipment and much, much more. Also, a smaller facility has the flexibility to add a flowmeter and injection pump, providing a low cost of entry for both hard surface applications and irrigation systems. This setup is by far our most popular configuration for smaller growing facilities, greenhouses and vertical farms, or for groups who simply want to test the system. AANE is also popular with customers who want the flexibility to fill sanitizing and disinfecting equipment throughout a large-grow facility. Due to their low-unit cost, multiple AANEs can even be installed in bigger facilities for access and convenience.

AANE benefits:

•           Economical

•           Eliminates the need for manual mixing and dilution

•           Automatically refills the reservoir with active product as needed

•           No electricity or wiring required

•           Delivers the correct concentration for a wide range of applications

•           Easy to install – only one water connection is needed

•           Tank size options of 15-gallon, 55-gallon and custom sizes

•           Available spigots and stands

Stay tuned for part three: Larger facility equipment and … you have options!
